Join our dynamic team as a Customer Service Associate! In this role, you'll be a crucial part of enhancing the shopping experience for our customers at ALDI. Year 2 - $17.50, Year 3 - $18.00, Year 4 - $18.00, Year 5 - $19.00Duties and Responsibilities:As a key member of our team, you will:Process customer purchases and manage cleaning duties to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.Stock shelves and merchandise displays to ensure easy access for customers.Deliver exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their shopping needs.Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.Provide constructive feedback on products, inventory losses, and general store operations.Participate in taking inventory counts in accordance with established guidelines.Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses and uphold security measures.Comply with all company policies and procedures, ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information.Take on additional tasks as assigned to support store operations.Physical Demands:This role requires you to have the capacity to:Stock merchandise, including placing items up to 45 pounds on shelves at various heights.Engage in regular physical activities like sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking around the store.Qualifications:Must be 18 years of age or older.Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.Proficiently operate a cash register and handle transactions accurately.Operate equipment safely and effectively, including hand jacks and floor scrubbers.Conduct general cleaning duties to maintain company standards.Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.Stay organized, pay attention to detail, follow instructions, and multi-task efficiently.Meet local and state requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.Education and Experience:A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.Previous retail experience is advantageous.A combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge is acceptable.ALDI offers
