As a Retail Store Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include stocking merchandise, maintaining cleanliness, and operating the cash register. Year 2 - $17.50, Year 3 - $18.00, Year 4 - $18.00, Year 5 - $19.00Duties and Responsibilities:Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.Consistently demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.Process customer purchases and perform general cleaning duties.Stock shelves and maintain merchandise displays neatly.Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience.Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.Provide feedback to management regarding products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and other general issues.Participate in store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.Comply with company policies while maintaining confidentiality.Perform additional tasks as assigned.Physical Demands:Ability to stock merchandise and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on shelving at various heights.Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk around the store.Qualifications:Must be 18 years of age or older.Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.Efficient and accurate cash register operation skills.Ability to safely use equipment such as electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers.Capability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.Education and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.Prior retail experience is a plus.A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.ALDI offers
