Retail Store Associate

Join our dynamic ALDI team as a Retail Store Associate, where you will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include merchandising and stocking products, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.Position Type:

Year 2 - $17.50, Year 3 - $18.00, Year 4 - $18.00, Year 5 - $19.00Duties and Responsibilities:As a Retail Store Associate, you will:Provide exceptional customer service and support to enhance the shopping experience.Efficiently process customer purchases and maintain cash register accuracy.Stock shelves and merchandise displays while adhering to organization standards.Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the store.Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate issues to management.Follow all cash handling policies and procedures.Adhere to company policies to ensure the security of documents and data.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.Physical Demands:This role requires the ability to:Stock merchandise and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on shelves.Engage in physical activities such as standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and walking throughout the store.Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years of age.Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.Strong aptitude for operating cash registers efficiently.Ability to operate store equipment safely and effectively.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.A proactive approach to teamwork and collaboration.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Education and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous retail experience is a plus but not required.ALDI offers
