Job Summary of Store Crew:
As a Store Crew, you will have responsibilities such as arranging and restocking inventory, handling transactions at the register, and cleaning to ensure the store maintains a tidy appearance. Your focus will be on improving the customer shopping experience through effective teamwork with the ALDI team and delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities of Store Crew:
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

- Processes customer purchases, perform general cleaning duties, stocks shelves and merchandise displays neatly
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly to the store management team
- Provide feedback to management on all products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues
- Participate in taking store inventory counts according to guidelines and monitoring inventory for accuracy
- Adheres to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
- Complies with all established company policies and procedures while upholding the security and confidentiality of documents and data
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands of Store Crew:
- Competence in organizing goods from store receiving to shelving; proficiency in placing items, which may weigh up to 45 pounds, on shelves at different levels
- Regularly tasked with sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and navigating the sales floor
- Expected to complete job functions with or without reasonable accommodations
Qualifications of Store Crew:
- The minimum age to apply for a job at ALDI is 18 years
- Ability to offer prompt and gracious customer care
- Competence in accurately and efficiently managing a cash register
- Competence in the proper and secure handling of machinery, including electric or manual hand-operated pallet jacks, floor cleaning equipment, and cardboard crushing devices
- Capability to perform regular cleaning tasks to meet the company's requirements
- Competence in applying and following internal policies and procedures
- Outstanding verbal and written communication aptitude
- Competence in working alone and in a team-based setting
- Manifesting skill in remaining orderly, concentrating on specifics, adhering to instructions, and managing various tasks in a proficient and effective way
- Abide by the state and local prerequisites for the proper management and commercialization of alcoholic drinks
- Having a high school diploma or its equivalent is valued
- Having previous retail experience is a plus
- Knowledge deemed equal through a harmony of academic training and experiential learning
