Part-Time Cashier and Stock Associate

Position Type: Part-Time
Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Wage Increases: Year 2 - $17.50 | Year 3 - $18.00 | Year 4 - $18.00 | Year 5 - $19.00

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with your direct leader.
- Uphold the security and confidentiality of all documents and data in your area of responsibility.
- Other duties as assigned.

Cashier Responsibilities:
- Process customer purchases and maintain a clean work area.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist with the shopping experience.
- Share feedback with management on products, inventory issues, and scanning errors.
- Participate in inventory counts and monitor accuracy.
- Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.

Stocker Responsibilities:
- Stock shelves and rotate products to ensure freshness.
- Follow merchandising standards to create appealing displays.
- Organize inventory and handle empty boxes efficiently.
- Operate various machinery safely and consistently.

Physical Demands:
- Requires regular sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 45 pounds, and walking throughout the store.
- Stockers must be able to stock merchandise from receiving to shelving.

Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain cleanliness.
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures effectively.
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Knowledge of products and services is a plus.
Cashier: Must operate a cash register efficiently and comply with state and local alcohol selling regulations.
Stocker: Morning availability is required to meet store operational needs, with shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience preferred, or equivalent education and knowledge.
