Full-Time Retail Associate

Join our dynamic team as a Full-Time Retail Associate! In this role, you will engage directly with customers, ensuring a delightful shopping experience while keeping our store organized and appealing.

Position Overview:
This is a full-time position requiring 32-40 hours per week. Starting wage is $19.50 per hour, with incremental wage increases throughout your first five years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process customer purchases efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store.
• Stock shelves and merchandise displays to ensure optimal presentation.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assistance to enhance the shopping experience.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate openly with store management.
• Offer constructive feedback on products, inventory, and customer experiences.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Comply with all company policies while ensuring the security and confidentiality of documents.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
The role involves stocking merchandise, lifting products up to 45 pounds, and engaging in various physical activities including bending, reaching, and walking throughout the store. Reasonable accommodations can be made.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to efficiently operate a cash register.
• Capable of safely using equipment such as hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
• Good cleaning abilities that meet company standards.
• Ability to understand and apply company policies.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask.
• Must meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcohol.

Education & Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with prior experience in a retail environment.
