  • Supervises and plans the daily and/or extended assignments and responsibilities of team members, considering timing and location.
  • Oversees the daily activities of receiving goods or shipping products to stores, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Observes the inbound and outbound delivery processes to verify compliance with established guidelines.
  • Designs and enforces action plans to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Establishes and expresses job accountabilities and performance prospects to their subordinates to guarantee mutual understanding and the desired outcome.
  • A sense of belonging and teamwork among workers, as well as the communication of the company's core values, are achieved through the modeling of the organization's strategy.
  • Operates in sync with fellow colleagues by maintaining an open line of communication and exchanging information as a team to achieve shared warehousing management goals.
  • Communicates important details to other operational areas, enabling them to fulfill their obligations.
  • The role involves communicating with District Managers and store management as and when needed.
  • Provides constructive feedback and propositions to the Warehouse Operations Manager to enhance the quality of the warehouse functioning.
  • The role entails assessing the performance of all warehouse service providers to ensure that it is up to the mark.
  • Collaborates with the logistics department to ensure smooth communication and coordination of daily operations.
  • Maintains a sharp lookout on the competitive scenario in the vicinity and notifies the management concerning the adaptations essential to sustain the company's competitive status.
  • Advise on which personnel should be promoted and which should be terminated.
  • Addresses warehouse issues, seeks out help from colleagues, third parties or higher-ups when necessary and ensures compliance with the guidelines to guarantee just treatment of warehouse employees.
  • Ensures that the warehouse staff is working effectively by overseeing their daily activities.
  • Administers, maps out, and runs scheduled events for Warehouse Associates.
  • Implements a comprehensive training and development program that offers opportunities for direct reports to learn new skills, acquire knowledge, and gain relevant experience, with the ultimate goal of enhancing job performance.
  • Keeps track of staff's job performance, providing feedback and coaching when necessary. A yearly performance appraisal is also completed.
  • Ensure the prompt, accurate and efficient storage of goods, materials and equipment.
  • Monitors the warehouse workforce, ensuring they comply with food safety, sanitation, maintenance, and operational safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Maintains oversight of overseas warehouse staff to ensure they are in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Supervises and manages controllable disbursements; produces appropriate inventory and output appraisals and modifies staff remuneration as circumstances require.
  • Making certain of safety measures by pinpointing and eliminating potential hazards, ensuring proper ergonomic practices, and maintaining equipment in sound working condition.
  • Manages a team of employees to ensure their compliance with the set standards and protocols, comprising, among others, the provisions of the Employee Handbook and Procedures Manuals.
  • Other obligations at the discretion of management.

Education and Experience:

Individuals with a High School Diploma or its equal are given priority.

Physical Requirements:
