Responsibilities:

- Ensuring the received stock is selected in a timely and competent manner to meet retail demands.
- Movement of merchandise within the warehouse is guided by regulations for product handling.
- Systematically prepares merchandise for transportation by arranging and categorizing them effectively, and takes responsibility for unloading incoming shipments from trucks or back-hauls.
- Undertakes general cleaning responsibilities to promote warehouse sanitation and hygiene, minimizing the risk of infections and diseases.
- Executes stocktaking of warehouses, following the prescribed regulations.
- Effective collaboration with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership is made possible through regular communication and sharing of information by this individual.
- Offers ideas for improving warehouse management's workflow and productivity.
- Check over merchandise, confers with the warehouse leadership team concerning the quality of products, potential safety risks, and sanitary troubles.
- Acts and resolves concerns without external influence or intervention within the given realm of authority.
- Facilitates the achievement of budgeted objectives for warehouse management.
- Carries out all delegated duties with proficiency, accuracy, and conformity to established company policies and guidelines.

- Performs job activities while prioritizing safety protocols and operating equipment.
- Notifies management of any concerns related to product quality, safety hazards, and sanitation issues.

Physical Requirements:
- Lifting and placing items that weigh up to 45 pounds on pallets at different levels is a routine task.
- Frequently relocate merchandise from the warehouse and make it ready for delivery to various stores.
- To be successful in a warehouse job, one must be able to perform tasks such as sitting, standing, bending, reaching, gripping, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking frequently.
- This profession insists on performing the duties efficiently under fluctuating temperatures, where exposure to outdoor weather, as well as refrigerator and freezer conditions, is commonplace.
