Job Summary of Warehouse Packer:

A Warehouse Packer is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support efficient warehouse operations. These tasks may include receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials and products within the warehouse. Warehouse Packer ensure the accurate handling and timely movement of goods, helping to maintain inventory accuracy and workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities of Warehouse Packer:

• Vital to be able to carry out duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Engages in the efficient selection and receipt of incoming stock to effectively meet store order needs.
• Relocates goods around the warehouse following the prescribed procedures for product handling.
• Arranges and loads goods methodically for shipping and unloads incoming deliveries from trucks or back-hauls.
• Executes cleaning responsibilities to ensure warehouse cleanliness meets safety guidelines.
• Takes part in the task of conducting inventory counts in the warehouse as directed.
• Engages in effective interactions and communication with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to facilitate the exchange of information.
• Suggestions for streamlining warehouse operations provided.
• Scrutinizes goods for quality assessment and discusses with warehouse management regarding product quality, safety precautions, and sanitation matters.
• Performs duties and determines outcomes freely within the designated area of control.
• Aids in the achievement of budgeted goals for warehouse management.
• Executes every allocated duty with precision, effectiveness, and adherence to company regulations and protocols.
• Adheres to the ergonomic program as per prescribed guidelines.
• Adheres to safety procedures when operating equipment as part of essential job responsibilities.
• Reports any problems with product quality, safety, and sanitation to the management.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Physical Requirements:
• Frequently required to lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Frequently move merchandise from warehouse stock and prepare product for store deliveries.
• Frequently required to sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Continuously work in varying temperatures, hot and cold (including outdoor temperatures and refrigerator/freezer environments).
