Join our team as a Store Associate at ALDI, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment.Position Type:

Year 2 - $17.50, Year 3 - $18.00, Year 4 - $18.00, Year 5 - $19.00Duties and Responsibilities:Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their shopping needs.Accurately process customer purchases and handle transactions efficiently.Stock shelves and merchandise displays in an organized and attractive manner.Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, adhering to our high standards.Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate any concerns to management.Participate in inventory counts as directed and monitor stock for accuracy.Adhere to cash policies and procedures to help minimize losses.Comply with all company policies while safeguarding sensitive information.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.Physical Demands:Ability to stock merchandise, including items weighing up to 45 pounds.Regularly engage in activities such as bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking throughout the store.Perform all duties with or without reasonable accommodation.Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years old to apply.Demonstrate a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.Skilled in operating a cash register accurately and efficiently.Experience in operating equipment such as electric/manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers is a plus.Ability to maintain cleanliness and uphold company standards.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask effectively.Must meet local and state requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.Education and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.Prior retail experience is preferred.Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge is acceptable.ALDI offers
