Job Summary of Store Representative:

The responsibilities of a Store Representative involve managing product displays, processing payments, and upholding cleanliness standards to uphold the store's aesthetics. Responsibilities of Store Representative:

• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Processes customer purchases, perform general cleaning duties, stocks shelves and merchandise displays neatly
• Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly to the store management team
• Provide feedback to management on all products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues
• Participate in taking store inventory counts according to guidelines and monitoring inventory for accuracy
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
• Complies with all established company policies and procedures while upholding the security and confidentiality of documents and data
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands of Store Representative:

• Competence in stocking merchandise from store receiving locations to shelving; adeptness in positioning items, weighing a maximum of 45 pounds, on shelves at varying heights
• The job entails the routine necessity of sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and traversing the store
• Expected to execute job functions with or without reasonable support

Qualifications of Store Representative:

• The minimum age requirement for employment in this position at ALDI is 18 years old
• Skill in providing immediate and friendly customer service
• Competence in operating a cash register with accuracy and efficiency
• Competence in utilizing a range of equipment, including electric/manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers, with a focus on safety protocols
• Adequacy in executing standard cleaning duties up to the company's set standards
• Skill in interpreting and putting into practice corporate policies and procedures
• Superior verbal and written communication capabilities
• Proficiency in undertaking responsibilities independently as well as within a team dynamic
• Showing competence in organization, meticulousness, adherence to instructions, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with professionalism and proficiency
• Abide by the stipulations imposed by state and local ordinances concerning the appropriate protocols for the sale and distribution of alcoholic drinks
• Having completed high school or an equivalent level of education is favored
• Experience working in a retail environment is advantageous
• The integration of educational background and real-world practice resulting in a similar depth of knowledge
