Job Summary of Assistant Retail Store Manager:
When you join our team as an Assistant Retail Store Manager, you’ll take on key store management responsibilities including assisting with supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans while identifying training opportunities to develop and grow the team.
Responsibilities of Assistant Retail Store Manager:

- Shares feedback with the direct leader by making suggestions on which items to introduce or discontinue
- Takes part in interviewing prospective candidates for store personnel roles
- Imparts relevant details such as weekly reports, main team achievements, progress, and potential challenges
- Guarantees the adherence of store personnel to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies to minimize any potential losses
- Takes charge of resolving operational customer problems when the immediate supervisor is not present
- Discerns and remedies hazards, verifies suitable ergonomics, and sustains the operational state of store equipment
- Consistently enforces cleanliness regulations and ensures correct signage placement within the store
- Aids the leader in ensuring proper stock levels by placing orders for required products
- Merchandise is showcased tidily to maximize profitability
- The position requires overseeing the quality and freshness of merchandise available for purchase, as well as ensuring the accuracy of product signage
- Collaborates with the manager to achieve the store's financial objectives, including the payroll and total loss budget, overseeing inventory reconciliation, and providing guidance for new employee orientation
- Supervises the team's daily activities, escalating problems to the relevant support or leadership level as and when required
- Ensures that employees complete their allocated tasks promptly and effectively to deliver top-notch customer service for the company
- Abides by all company policies and procedures to guarantee compliance, particularly in maintaining the security and confidentiality of documents and data, as well as fulfilling any additional tasks as assigned
Physical Demands of Assistant Retail Store Manager:
- Skill in managing store merchandise from receiving to shelving; adept at placing products, weighing up to 45 pounds, on shelves at various levels
- Regular obligations include sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and moving around the store
- It is necessary to be able to execute duties with or without reasonable support
Qualifications of Assistant Retail Store Manager:

- Three years of continuous growth in a retail setting
