Retail Team Associate

Position Type: Full-Time
Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Wage Increases: Year 2 - $17.50 Year 3 - $18.00 Year 4 - $18.00 Year 5 - $19.00

Your Responsibilities Include:
- Process customer purchases efficiently and accurately.
- Keep the store clean and organized.
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays with care.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate with team members and maintain clear communication with store management.
- Report any product issues, inventory discrepancies, or general concerns to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Adhere to all company policies while maintaining security and confidentiality.

Physical Demands:

- Ability to stock products weighing up to 45 pounds on shelves of various heights.
- Regularly engage in physical activities, including standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and walking throughout the store.
- Must be able to perform all duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications:

- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Proven ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Competence in operating a cash register.
- Ability to safely operate equipment such as hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Strong understanding of cleaning standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask efficiently.
- Compliance with local and state regulations for selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience:

- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in a retail environment is an advantage.
- A combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge may also be accepted.
