Customer Service and Inventory Specialist

Join our team as a Store Associate, where you will play a vital role in creating a pleasant shopping experience for customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Year 2 - $18.00, Year 3 - $18.50, Year 4 - $18.50, Year 5 - $19.50Duties and Responsibilities:Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.Exhibit the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as required for the role.Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, stock shelves, and neatly merchandise displays.Deliver outstanding customer service, assisting shoppers during their experience.Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.Provide feedback to management on products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and other general issues.Participate in inventory counts and diligently monitor inventory accuracy.Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.Comply with all company policies while ensuring document and data security.Perform other duties as assigned.Physical Demands:Ability to stock merchandise from receiving areas to shelves and lift products weighing up to 45 pounds.Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store.Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.Qualifications:Must be 18 years of age or older to be employed.Exceptional customer service skills.Efficient and accurate cash register operation.Ability to operate various equipment safely, including electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers.Perform general cleaning tasks as per company standards.Interpret and apply company policies effectively.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Stay organized, detail-oriented, follow instructions, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.Meet local and state requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.Education and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.Prior retail experience is preferred.A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge will be considered.ALDI provides
