Job Summary of Warehouse Task Worker:

A Warehouse Task Worker is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support efficient warehouse operations. These tasks may include receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials and products within the warehouse. Warehouse Task Worker ensure the accurate handling and timely movement of goods, helping to maintain inventory accuracy and workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities of Warehouse Task Worker:

• Capable of carrying out tasks with or without appropriate modifications.
• Handles the selection and reception of incoming stock with precision to meet store order requirements.
• Transfers goods around the warehouse in alignment with the prescribed procedures for product management.
• Strategically prepares and loads products for shipment and receives incoming deliveries from trucks or back-hauls.
• Carries out general cleaning responsibilities to uphold warehouse visual standards and ensure safety compliance.
• Takes part in inventory counts within the warehouse as per outlined procedures.
• Works in partnership and communicates efficiently with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leaders through consistent interaction and information-sharing.
• Provides recommendations for improving warehouse operations.
• - Conducts product inspections and collaborates with warehouse administrators on matters related to product excellence, safety considerations, and hygiene matters.
• Acts and makes choices independently within the specified scope of responsibility.
• Supports warehouse management to reach their budget targets.
• Executes every allocated duty with precision, effectiveness, and adherence to company regulations and protocols.
• Implements the ergonomic program in accordance with established protocols.
• Adheres to safety procedures when operating equipment as part of essential job responsibilities.
• Informs the management about issues concerning the quality of products, safety, and sanitation.
• Tasks beyond the usual scope of work may be delegated.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Physical Requirements:
• Frequently required to lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Frequently move merchandise from warehouse stock and prepare product for store deliveries.
• Frequently required to sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Continuously work in varying temperatures, hot and cold (including outdoor temperatures and refrigerator/freezer environments).
