Position Summary:

As a Cashier at ALDI, you’ll play a key role in delivering a fast, friendly, and efficient checkout experience. We’re looking for hardworking, customer-focused individuals who thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and are committed to upholding ALDI’s high standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide prompt and courteous customer service at the register
Operate a cash register and accurately handle cash, card, and digital transactions
Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions
Uphold ALDI’s commitment to efficiency by scanning items quickly and accurately
Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked
Assist with store cleaning, restocking shelves, and other duties as assigned
Monitor and minimize losses through careful handling of transactions and merchandise
Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior retail or cashier experience a plus, but not required
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs regularly
Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
