Customer and Stock Associate

As a Customer and Stock Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our store is fully stocked and inviting for customers. This position involves merchandising and stocking products, managing the cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You'll be part of a dynamic ALDI team, dedicated to providing outstanding customer service and enhancing every shopper's experience.Position Type:

Year 2 - $20.00, Year 3 - $20.50, Year 4 - $20.50, Year 5 - $21.50Duties and Responsibilities:Showcase the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently in your role.Process customer purchases while maintaining cleanliness throughout the store.Stock shelves and create attractive merchandise displays.Deliver exemplary customer service, assisting customers throughout their shopping journey.Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with management.Provide valuable feedback regarding products, inventory discrepancies, and any operational issues.Participate in conducting inventory counts and ensure accurate inventory tracking.Follow cash handling procedures to minimize losses.Adhere to all company policies while ensuring the security and confidentiality of information.Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.Physical Demands:Ability to stock merchandise from receiving to shelving; lift products weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights.Regularly engage in sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking around the store.Must be capable of performing duties with or without reasonable accommodation.Qualifications:Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.Demonstrate prompt and courteous customer service skills.Capable of efficiently operating a cash register with accuracy.Ability to safely use equipment such as hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers.General cleaning duties must meet company standards.Understand and apply company policies and procedures effectively.Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Stay organized, pay attention to detail, and follow instructions while managing multiple tasks.Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.Education and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.Experience in a retail environment is preferred.A combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge is also acceptable.ALDI offers
