Job Summary of Warehouse Shift Associate:

A Warehouse Shift Associate is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support efficient warehouse operations. These tasks may include receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials and products within the warehouse. Warehouse Shift Associate ensure the accurate handling and timely movement of goods, helping to maintain inventory accuracy and workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities of Warehouse Shift Associate:

• Must be capable of performing tasks with or without necessary adjustments.
• Effectively organizes the selection and reception of incoming stock to meet store order specifications.
• Transports products within the warehouse while adhering to the recommended guidelines for handling items.
• Strategically handles merchandise by sorting, organizing, and loading for shipment, as well as unloading incoming deliveries from trucks or back-hauls.
• Performs standard cleaning activities to achieve warehouse appearance expectations and safety measures.
• Participates in the inventory counting activities in the warehouse in accordance with guidelines.
• Demonstrates effective collaboration and communication with peers, suppliers, and warehouse managers through regular interaction and sharing of information.
• Suggestions for streamlining warehouse operations provided.
• Inspects products thoroughly and confers with warehouse supervisors about product quality, safety issues, and sanitation concerns.
• Carries out responsibilities and makes autonomous decisions within the approved jurisdiction.
• Helps warehouse management to meet their financial aspirations.
• Delivers on all assigned tasks with accuracy, effectiveness, and in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Adheres to the ergonomic program by following prescribed measures.
• Abides by safety guidelines when utilizing machinery for job-related tasks.
• Communicates with management regarding concerns about product quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Tasks outside the regular job description may be assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Physical Requirements:
• Consistently expected to handle and stack products that weigh up to 45 pounds onto pallets at various heights.
• Periodically move merchandise from warehouse stock and ready items for delivery to retail stores.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, grasp, apply force, pull, lift, carry, and move within the warehouse facility.
• Experience temperature fluctuations regularly while working, encompassing both hot and cold atmospheres.
