Job Summary of Warehouse Logistics Worker:

A Warehouse Logistics Worker is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support efficient warehouse operations. These tasks may include receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials and products within the warehouse. Warehouse Logistics Worker ensure the accurate handling and timely movement of goods, helping to maintain inventory accuracy and workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities of Warehouse Logistics Worker:

• Must be capable of performing tasks with or without necessary adjustments.
• Facilitates the fulfillment of store orders by efficiently selecting and receiving incoming stock.
• Repositions inventory within the storage facility in accordance with the specified rules for handling goods.
• Systematically prepares and loads merchandise for shipment and unloads incoming shipments from trucks/back-hauls.
• Completes general cleaning duties in adherence to warehouse appearance standards and safety protocols.
• Participates in the inventory tally process in the warehouse according to the guidelines provided.
• Collaborates and communicates efficiently with colleagues, suppliers, and warehouse management to ensure a continuous exchange of information.
• Assists in implementing changes to enhance warehouse management efficiency.
• Inspects products thoroughly and confers with warehouse supervisors about product quality, safety issues, and sanitation concerns.
• Functions and makes independent decisions within the entrusted area of accountability.
• Assists in reaching the planned financial objectives for warehouse management.
• Accomplishes all given assignments with accuracy, proficiency, and in compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Implements the ergonomic program in accordance with established protocols.
• Follows safety protocols while using machinery to carry out necessary job duties.
• Informs the management about issues concerning the quality of products, safety, and sanitation.
• Additional assignments may be allotted as necessary.

• Preference given to those with a high school diploma or its equivalent. Physical demands:
• Oftentimes needed to lift and stack merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds onto pallets at varying levels.
• Routinely shift merchandise from warehouse supplies and get products ready for delivery to stores.
• Regularly obliged to sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, exert force, tug, transport, and move around the warehouse space.
• Work consistently in different temperature ranges, such as extreme heat and extreme cold, both indoors and outdoors.
