Job Description:

Striving to provide an unforgettable shopping experience, the Store Attendant collaborates with the ALDI team to keep the store's appearance at its finest. Cashiering, merchandising, and stocking responsibilities, along with maintaining the store's cleanliness, are all carried out effectively by the Store Attendant.

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Workers are required to invest a total of 32 to 40 hours of their week into their job

• Additional work may be given based on individual skills and experience, which fall outside of regular job duties

Physical Demands:

• Expertise in moving store inventory from the receiving area to the shelves, along with the skill to place merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds at different heights on the shelves
• The store necessitates the fulfillment of many physical obligations like sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking regularly
• The successful completion of job responsibilities is mandated, regardless of the need for reasonable accommodations

Qualifications:

• Age requirement for the ALDI job prospect mandates that applicants must be legally recognized as adults with a minimum age of 18 years old
• Capability to dispense prompt and polite assistance to clients
• Learning to work with cash registers seamlessly can speed up checkouts, leading to a better customer experience and, potentially, increased business
• The ability to competently operate equipment such as floor scrubbers, cardboard balers, and electric/manual hand jacks in a proper and safe manner
• Expertise in executing general cleaning duties in conformity with the regulations of the company
• Knowing how to properly interpret and apply company policies and procedures is a mark of a professional and conscientious employee
• Expertise in expressing ideas verbally and in writing
• Possessing the ability to operate independently as well as in a team setting is highly admired
• The capacity to maintain a structured system, be precise in monitoring details, comply with guidelines, and handle numerous responsibilities efficiently and professionally
• Adhere to all state and local regulations when it comes to the serving and distribution of alcoholic beverages to ensure compliance with the law

Education and Experience:

• It is advantageous to have a high school diploma or an equivalent degree
• Preferred candidates should have prior retail experience on their CV
• The combination of education and hands-on practice can result in equivalent knowledge
