Job Summary of Warehouse Fulfillment Worker:

A Warehouse Fulfillment Worker is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support efficient warehouse operations. These tasks may include receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials and products within the warehouse. Warehouse Associates ensure the accurate handling and timely movement of goods, helping to maintain inventory accuracy and workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities of Warehouse Fulfillment Worker:

• Required to fulfill duties with or without reasonable assistance.
• Efficiently processes incoming stock selection and receipt to fulfill store orders accurately.
• Reallocates goods throughout the storage area following the regulations for handling merchandise.
• Efficiently arranges and loads merchandise to be shipped and unloads incoming shipments from trucks or back-hauls.
• Fulfills general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse presentation and safety regulations.
• Takes part in the inventory counting process in the warehouse following prescribed protocols.
• Maintains effective cooperation and communication with colleagues, suppliers, and warehouse leadership through continuous exchange of information.
• Offers advice on improving warehouse management practices.
• Scrutinizes goods for quality assessment and discusses with warehouse management regarding product quality, safety precautions, and sanitation matters.
• Functions and makes independent decisions within the entrusted area of accountability.
• Supports warehouse management in accomplishing their budgeted milestones.
• Carries out all delegated responsibilities with precision, efficiency, and in alignment with company policies and protocols.
• Complies with the ergonomic program based on specified procedures.
• Carries out essential job functions by operating equipment with adherence to safety protocols.
• Raises concerns to management about product quality, safety, and sanitation matters.
• Additional duties may be assigned on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications of Warehouse Fulfillment Worker:

• Operate within the specified ALDI Acts competencies standards.

• Competence in functioning both independently and within a team dynamic. Educational Experience and Professional Background:
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Physical Requirements:
• Frequently needed to lift and place items that are up to 45 pounds in weight onto pallets at different levels.
• Systematically transfer items from warehouse inventory and prepare product for dispatch to stores.
• Consistently needed to be seated, standing, bending, reaching, gripping, thrusting, pulling, transporting, and navigating the warehouse premises.
• Work consistently in different temperature ranges, such as extreme heat and extreme cold, both indoors and outdoors.
