Job Summary of Store Team Representative:

As a Store Team Representative, your tasks will involve stocking products, managing transactions, and upholding cleanliness standards to preserve the store's overall presentation. Through effective teamwork with the ALDI staff and delivering exceptional customer service, you will contribute to a positive shopping atmosphere.

Responsibilities of Store Team Representative:

• Task performance should be achievable with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Handles customer transactions, fulfills cleaning duties, restocks merchandise on shelves, and ensures orderly presentation of products
• Provide exceptional support to customers, assisting them in making the most of their shopping experience
• Cultivate a collaborative environment with team members and uphold effective communication with the store management team
• Deliver detailed information to management covering products, inventory discrepancies, scanning errors, and general issues to facilitate informed decision-making
• Assist in monitoring store inventory counts following established guidelines and maintaining inventory accuracy
• Maintains adherence to cash policies and processes to lessen the likelihood of losses
• Maintains the security and confidentiality of documents and data through adherence to established company policies and procedures
• Obligations beyond the usual workload

Physical Demands of Store Team Representative:

• Ability to stock merchandise from store receiving to shelving; ability to place product, weighing up to 45 pounds, on shelving at various heights
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry and walk about the store
• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation

Qualifications of Store Team Representative:

• To be considered for employment in this role at ALDI, applicants need to be 18 years of age or older
• Proficiency in providing swift and friendly customer service
• Proficiency in accurately handling financial transactions through a cash register
• Ability to safely and correctly operate a variety of equipment, including electric/manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and compactors while adhering to safety guidelines
• Skill in carrying out regular cleaning responsibilities to uphold company standards
• Proficiency in interpreting and applying organizational policies and procedures
• Skilled in communicating verbally and in writing with excellence
• Ability to perform tasks independently or as part of a team environment seamlessly
• Showing competence in organizational skills, meticulousness, adherence to instructions, and the ability to multitask in a professional and efficient manner
• Observe the state and local statutes dictating the lawful procedures for managing and retailing alcoholic beverages
• It is preferable for candidates to have a high school diploma or its equivalent
• Experience in a retail environment is a plus
• A mix of academic education and experiential learning resulting in an equivalent level of understanding
