Responsibilities:

• Organizing the process of receiving and selecting incoming inventory to effectively fulfill outlet orders.
• Movement of merchandise within the warehouse is guided by regulations for product handling.
• Structure and arrange goods in an effective manner for transportation, strategically coordinating the process, and also unloading incoming shipment from trucks or back-hauls.
• Performs cleaning activities to keep the warehouse facilities clean and to prevent safety hazards, taking necessary precautions to prevent accidents and slips.
• Executes stocktaking of warehouses, following the prescribed regulations.
• The ability to interact and cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership is highly valued by this individual, who ensures communication is ongoing.
• Offers recommendations to enhance processes in warehouse management.
• Scrutinizes goods, discusses with warehouse administration regarding the worth of merchandise, safety risks, and sanitation troubles.
• Acts and resolves concerns without external influence or intervention within the given realm of authority.
• Helps the warehouse management team reach their predetermined budgeted targets.

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting and placing items that weigh up to 45 pounds on pallets at different levels is a routine task.
• Regularly relocate inventory from warehouse shelves and package products for dispatch to stores.
• The warehouse job demands frequent movement such as sitting, standing, bending, reaching, gripping, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking.
• The position involves performing tasks in temperatures that constantly change, ranging from hot to cold, regardless of whether it is outdoors or inside a refrigerator or freezer.
• One should possess the aptitude to control heavy-duty machinery with safety and proficiency.
