Responsibilities:

An individual is expected to undertake their duties and responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Implementing an efficient system for the selection and receipt of incoming inventory to meet store demands.
• Guidelines for product handling are followed while transferring goods within the warehouse.
• Systematically loads and arranges items to be shipped, planning their placement ahead of time, and also unloads deliveries from trucks or back-hauls.
• Carries out general cleaning duties designed to meet the aesthetic requirements of the warehouse and to enhance its overall appearance.
• Complies with guidelines by conducting warehouse inventory counts.
• Through consistent communication and information sharing, this individual effectively collaborates with their peers, suppliers, and warehouse leaders.
• Suggests modifications to the warehouse management process for better efficiency.
• Inspects articles, talks with warehouse managers about product value, possible hazards, and cleanliness issues.
• Demonstrates autonomy and self-governance when making decisions and carrying out responsibilities.
• Provides assistance to warehouse management in the realization of their budgetary goals.
• Accomplishes assigned tasks with precision, swiftness, and in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Adheres to the prescribed methods for executing the ergonomic program.
• Performs job functions using machinery while complying with established safety guidelines.
• Raises concerns regarding product quality, safety hazards, and sanitation issues with management.

Education and Experience:

Physical Requirements:

• One of the job responsibilities includes frequently handling and arranging products that can weigh up to 45 pounds onto pallets of varying heights.
• Often transfer goods from storage facilities and ready items for transportation to retail outlets.
• In the warehouse, individuals are often expected to perform physical activities like sitting, standing, bending, reaching, gripping, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking regularly.
• The role demands the ability to work effectively in environments with divergent temperatures, either extreme heat or freezing cold, encompassing exposure to outdoor conditions and refrigeration units.
• Safe and accurate handling of powered industrial equipment is a crucial proficiency.
